Nidotherapy Workshop 2019

The 14th Nidotherapy Workshop will be held at the Deincourt Hotel in Newark on 12th and 13th February, 2019. This will be a joint meeting with ISAS (Incest and Sexual Abuse Survivors), a registered charity also based in Newark, in which the intention is to see the possible role of nidotherapy in treating many of the problems that follow abuse. We will also be seeing other people with current difficulties. In previous workshops we have found it more instructive to look at the actual problems of people as they present rather than talking about those we have already seen and treated. So in this workshop we will be presenting people with intractable problems that have not been solved by traditional therapies and how nidotherapy may help will be illustrated. There will be a full symposium on post-traumatic stress disorder following abuse in which ISAS will play a major part. The fee for this workshop is £50 for daily attendance and £250 for full workshop attendance and accommodation, but there is no charge for those of limited means. Could those interested in attending please contact Helen Tyrer (h.tyrer@imperial.ac.uk) or Peter Tyrer (p.tyrer@imperial.ac.uk) with an indication of their main interests in nidotherapy. Joanne Butler of ISAS can also be contacted about the trauma symposium.
